Title: The Father's Love - the Vine and Branches

Summary:  As individuals we have a responsibility to form our own relationship to Christ. We each must produce good fruit. The roots must be genuine. If we are connected to things not good, the fruit is not good. If we are connected to the best (Jesus) we produce the best fruit. There can be many branches that produce unacceptable fruit. We can be connected and produce bad fruit. The right fruit comes from branches part of the real vine. God the Father is the gardener and owner. He is an expert in producing good fruit. God tends the branches by pruning. God's pruning saw is love, tenderness and His word. God takes away dead wood. God trims live wood. The trimming cleanses and purifies. The fruit we produce is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self control. Dead word harbors disease.
